In the WorldSBK and MXGP arenas Kawasaki is represented by factory supported, title focused teams both of which operate under the Kawasaki Racing Team banner. The only full factory effort in each discipline, the KRT racing enterprises have been preparing during their respective off-seasons and now take to the track fully prepared and fully liveried for a long and competitive campaign of racing.
For the WorldSBK team based in Catalonia, the 2019 thrust comes via four time world champion, Jonathan Rea and current British Superbike champion, Leon Haslam; both of whom are mounted on the latest 2019 Ninja ZX-10RR equipped with new technology and a renewed combined vigour to retain the coveted WorldSBK title.
In the MXGP paddock Kawasaki return with the same rider line up of Clement Desalle and Julien Lieber for continuity and a new factory KX450-SR machine equipped – as is the Ninja ZX-10RR – with finger follower valve technology enabling even higher horsepower to be achieved.
Two teams – One vision – Winning.
